Food Commodity Prices represent the major importance to follow up the economic changes that happens in the domestic markets. Prices considers a fundamental source that the statistical outputs of CPI rely on and consider one of the most important statistical & Economic Indicators, and mostly related to the daily individuals lives, in addition to its impact on decisions taken in the economic fields.

For the great importance of CPI, CAPMAS collecting the price of 964 commodity and services from all the Republic governorates monthly whether from urban areas or rural areas and from more than 10 thousand resource, also publish the CPI bulletin, which includes price index – annual & monthly change rate of main & sub categories and the general number in 8 geographic areas… the bulletin doesn’t include the commodity & services prices according to the International concepts way.

As C.A.P.M.A.S. keen to achieve the maximum benefits from the data that released in bulletins to clarify the average price of consumer for most important food commodity for the regular citizen and concerned people of following the prices.
